Bioguard & local partner Cytochrome Sponsor world hand hygiene day event at King George’s Medical Un

King George Medical University celebrated World hand Hygiene day on 5th May 2018 by getting the infection control team to organise a workshop on the importance of Hand hygiene in infection control.

Vice Chancellor Dr ML Bhat inaugurated the event and highlighted the importance of ensuring a culture of good hand hygiene and ensuring best practice.

Dr Anita Jain and Dr Prashant Gupta explained about the importance of hand Hygiene to the staff.

Guest speaker Dr Subodh Kulkarni, presented on latest trends in infection control and importance of Hand Hygiene in current infection control strategies and also presented how to select powerful, environmental friendly and yet safe hand sanitisers and disinfectants.

The event was attended by 80 nursing and teaching staff.
